• 16 channels per card - each channel consists of line interface circuit for amplification & ring generation along with line condition status monitor
• Card has codec integrated circuit for encoding/decoding analogue sine wave into 8 bit digital samples 8000 times a second
• Circuits can be set up for various combinations of long/short line working at 600 ohm balanced impendence
